Even installing WaydroidHelper displays a frightening warning message! Has anyone installed Waydroid using the helper?

@davealbiston It briked my Volla Phone X when I tried it and I lost all my data getting it to work again. That said other people seem to have had no problem. I suggest you back up /home/phablet before you try installing Waydroid Helper so that you don't loose everything.... if the worst hapens!
I'll leave it a few months before I try again, but Android apps would be soooo useful. Many thanks to the devs for getting this to work!

@davealbiston Yesterday I updated my vollaphone to OTA21 and installed the Waydroid Helper and Waydroid. For me it worked! I downloaded F-Droid with a browser and could then download from the Adroid-Store. Also the banking app for my bank account worked. So this seems to be a big step forward.

@ian I am not guaranteeing anything at all and a certain risk always remains when installing Waydroid, but we think that with the new update the risk of breacking something should be significantly lower because we updated the installer after Flo made us aware of a security Issue.
Both the Installer in Helper and the Guide here in the forum were adapted accordingly.
As I said though, no guarantees!
