music app: endless chaining in playback of songs

OTA-22 (but maybe older ?)
I noticed that although the music app selects the playback of a single song, it plays the following songs endlessly ! Annoying !
Is this confirmed with other smartphones ?

@domubpkm If you want to play just one track I think you need to create a very short playlist!
You say that the following tracks play endlessly. Have you unchecked the square arrow loop icon at the left of the display? With it on an album will play forever, with it off the album will play through once from where you started it.
And another thing.... The crossing over arrow icon at the right of the display caused me some grief until I figgured out it was shuffle. With it on it doesn't matter if you press 'play all' or 'shuffle' the album will play in shuffle.

A short playlist is a workaround, not the normal way.
I know the normal use of the icons but the square arrow loop icon doesn't work for me : a track can't be play in loops : checked or unchecked, tracks play endlessly. Only the checked crossing over arrow icon work.

@domubpkm How do you select one track for playback?
The square arrow loop works for me on the VPX, it loops the album. You can play from start or click on any track to start from. With the loop checked the album loops, with it unchecked it plays through once.

Just press the track you want to play ! And you can move the track playback cursor to the end of the track to see what happens.

@domubpkm If I click on a track the album plays from there to the end of the album if the loop is not selected. If the loop is selected then when I click on a track it begins to play and just keeps going endlessly through the album.
I have no option to play a single track other than creating a one track playlist.
