Auto brightness not working
-
This is the secong bug I discovered for this phone.
-
@marius-ciclistu And you will discover many more, as this is an ongoing project ...
Having said that, according to the devices page auto brightness should work. If it does not, please check if there isn't already an issue about it, and if not feel free to open one. If there is no dedicated issues tracker, you can possibly contact the maintainer of the port (link on the devices page)

@arubislander the thing is... gx290 plus. not volla branded Also bluetooth works but can't be turned off
-
@marius-ciclistu oh, so it's not a Volla Phone X at all, just a phone with the same hardware. Well, in that case, all bets are off, I guess...
-
@arubislander yeah, no espectations from my part anyway... it is better than about 2 years ago when my opo had no autofocus, flash photo etc.
-
@arubislander I installed Volla os. It seem that is more advanced than ubtouch.

@marius-ciclistu said in Auto brightness not working:
@arubislander I installed Volla os. It seem that is more advanced than ubtouch.
Of course it is. It is ASOP based, maybe even based on Lineage or such.
-
@arubislander after 62 hours i have 62% battery from 100% with volla os. wifi on. 4g only few hours on. Ubtouch made only 48 h from 90% to 20% with wifi and 4g on and bluetooth on that is unstopable.
Ps.( Opo with ubuntu touch after 48 h has 82% in standby with bluetooth, wifi off and without sim card. But with wifi and 4g on it did not last more than 12 h.)

@marius-ciclistu I don't know the numbers on a proper Volla Phone on Ubuntu Touch. But I can only assume the generic device is lacking some optimizations.
But if Volla OS works better for you, go with that.

I have a VollaPhone X and auto brightness does not work. Currently at OTA-23 but it has not worked for some time.
