I want to give a hotspot with my opo5, but it fails. connection between device and laptop is suposed to be good, lte is working well on the opo5, but there is no internet on the laptop. Am I missing some configuration?

I've found very little configuration to do, I doubt you're missing anything. Mine worked initially, but at some point I had no internet, despite my data working on the phone and the hotspot connection seeming fine, like you describe.

I disconnected with my laptop, and then on my phone went to System Settings --> Hotspot --> Change Password/Setup and changed the name of the hotspot. This was enough to need to choose the newly named wifi network and enter the password again on my laptop, and then it worked again.

Hard to say if that will help you, but perhaps worth a shot? I'm no expert, and my experience with this is very limited.
I was using a Oneplus 5 and a Lenovo Thinkpad laptop that was either in Windows 10 or Ubuntu, I can't recall.

@messayisto Oh good! Doesn't fix whatever the underlying issue is, but better than nothing. Hopefully it just keeps working for both of us. 🙂
