U2F?

Any support for hardward 2fa keys? FIDO U2F, YubiKey, Google Titan...
Just heard about a deal on cheap YubiKey, but realised they probably wouldn't work on Ubuntu Touch.
From my understanding to get it to work, one would need it installed on the OS (libu2f-udev in apt), which might be possible if I make the root read-write.
But the browser also has to support it, and I have a feeling Morph Browser doesn't.
Is this in the radar? Is it possible with some tinkering? Or should I just avoid that method of 2fa?
To be clear I'm interested in using it to log into online accounts, not into the os.

Same question, just received my Nitrokey 3A mini (+ USB-C adapter) and hoping to use it in conjunction with Oneplus 3T.

Hi @ari
Thanks for the question. As I will be in the same position.
My tests on a desktop computer show that OTP from the yubikey works fine, but in order to get Fido2 to work, I needed to change my browser from Firefow to Chromium.Morph is based QtWebEngine which is based on chrome, so maybe the support for U2F and Fido2 is already available but one has to test I guess.
I won't have time to investigate this further this year (low priority), but I might have a look in 2023.Keep us posted if you proceed and test it out.
