I am interested to try PostMarketOS Phosh on my PinePhone. Can anyone recommend which image to use.
Is it best to try the latest release, or should I choose an older version?
(I am currently running Ubuntu Touch, but I there's a problem with Teleports which works ok when first installed, but freezes after a re-start.)

According to their homepage they recommend the latest version so try that and if that doesnẗ work for you try another image/os/gui of your liking. It is almost impossible to brick your phone. And if you are not sure about installing on the emmc, try it on a micro sdcard first. I think that it is possible to try it on the sdcard first :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thanks for your suggestion. Installing to the micro-sd card is my preferred approach. As a matter of interest, when I re-installed Ubuntu Touch recently, the PinePhone wouldn't boot. Turned out when I formatted the micro-sd card, I forgot to set the flag to make it bootable. Doh!

So, I followed your suggestion and loaded latest PostMarketOS-Phosh to my micro-sd card. Then I popped in my PinePhone and it booted up first time and connected to my wifi without any hassle. Now I can tinker. My first impression is it's not as polished as Ubuntu Touch.
              Thanks again for your interest.
