@Lakotaubp Thank you for your support for the Pinephone Keyboard. Unfortunately I lack of support to fight for the Pinephone Keyboard in the Pine64 forum. So I invite you the help me to fight that is comes back. I invested a lot of time in Office solutions for the Pinephone. These basically only make sense with the Pinephone Keyboard.

@Frayedknot If your device is a P3a, several of us have noticed this. It's something to do with UT, not the carrier. I haven't had time to troubleshoot it, so haven't filed a bug report for it yet.

@Peter-Gamma and that is your good right here on this forum. Giving a negative review of the company based on personal experience is fine. What I meant by making it personal was the targeting of a particular person who works at/for Pine64.

    Hello @Fla ,

Xenial was abandoned a long time ago, from what I see you didn't see that before being abandoned the file upload was working fine.
A few months ago @Oren and others resurrected it but it's complicated and hands are missing. The latest thing they are doing is trying to make the image read-only and have OTA updates.
A lot of things that worked on Xenial no longer work on Focal because it's like they started from scratch.

Yea, it's been working alright for me as well. Definitely better than I expected. Not perfect, but absolutely usable.

Apparently there is talk of another driver that will be ready soon. I don't know the details, Oren would be the better person to ask about that in the Telegram. But supposedly we will get a more stable driver soon.

Here is another post from Oren & CO:

Also they will likely recieve another few package updates in the next few days when OTA3 comes out, so these are test images until that is fully released (UBPorts will announce it). Then they are officially "beta" upstream images, before our OTA-upgradable final version.

    Edit:
    From Oren & CO:
i am waiting to upload this to the ubports + pine64 wikis until OTA3 comes out

@arubislander Thanks for the tip. I am probably gonna go with the SSH option because I have tried the logviewer and I didn't really care for it.

You should stick to telegram and not try to split on matrix.
The place where things are done is telegram, I doubt creating a matrix group will change that, and it will not help Dev and sorting issue for Pine devices.

@kara-zajac The device specific ones yes. The 20.04 list is not yet complete nor the update channels. Stable should not be ready soon 🙂

@andrew907 updating apps from settings is deprecated, and will probably be removed in future.
The idea is to make a clean difference in that apps would be updated via the Open Store and the OS via settings.
