        I want to be able to set the phone (that has been installed with ubuntu touch) such that when I give it to someone else, when they start up the phone they will be prompted for initial username and desired pw. I guess essentially i want it to start into reset. Is this possible? Any suggestions? Thank you.

          @johnnylinux There's really no username in UT yet, just a display name since username is always phablet. In any case, you can do a factory reset before giving it to someone. The device will boot into the same welcome wizard as it did the first time you used it.

            @kugiigi So, would just do a factory reset and then turn phone off (before setup)? then next person to turn on would go through the setup steps (eg. username, pw, wifi etc) - have I got that correct

              @johnnylinux That sounds completely correct.

              Is currently using an Op5t
              Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5 and an Xperia X, as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.

                @johnnylinux If there's nothing on your phone. You can try it now and just factory reset again.

                  @kugiigi even if there is something on it, OP can try it, since they intend giving it away anyhow. Just Factory reset it again after testing out the feature.
