        Is there any way to install and run Waydroid on Oneplus 6t?
        Anyone tried that?

          I don't see this device in the supported one from openstore app page.
          Device needs to be on halium 9, and from what i understood, a patched kernel, in order to run waydroid properly.

            @keneda I think I've seen some video Op6t running Waydroid, can't remember.
            Anyway, the waydroid itself is installed and running ( from terminal output ), but there is an error, wayland not present or something like that.
            If anyone has any info regarding this, please reply. Thanks.

              @stefano On the latest status, Oneplus 6T is not reported to be able to run WayDroid. Maybe a kernel issue (?)

                Can anyone confirm if it is working now? I see that it is reported as working on https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/fajita.

                  @mihael I was able to get Waydroid working to a certain extent on my 6T using the 16.04 stable build. The on-screen keyboard would not come up any more after I attempted the WayDroid OTA update. I ended up bricking my phone while trying to fix that, so I recovered and installed the 20.04 RC. That seems to have other issues where I cannot install Waydroid via the apt command as it keeps telling me "No space left on drive". I am going to go back to the stable build and try again. In the mean time, I am going to see if I can get into the telegram group.

                    @jjstone77 Can you please describe how you got it working? I tried with the Helper and it keeps loading and never opens. I also tried via terminal but says "XDG is not "wayland""
