Redmi note 9 screen not rotating

Not sure my phone has been bricked for some time redmi note 9 does not like cutom recoveries and then life so my poor note sat ignored for a bit iv manage to get it up and running ......but screen wont rotate rotation lock is off

Was your device running the latest available stock Android 10 firmware for it, before it was flashed with UT?

@arubislander yes i had to install a xaiomi recovery rom i grabbed the newest one that was android 10 i had to search redmi is on android 13 i do think

@developerbayman Ah. I see. Usually issues like rotation not working can stem from having flashed over the wrong image. But that seems.not tombe the case for you. I also asume you are fully updated and have rebooted?
If that is the case I am out of ideas, as the device page indicates rotation should work.

It is possible that the accelerometer sensor in your phone is not functioning properly, which could be causing the screen rotation issue.

@TandyNeoma basically some of xaiomi redmi note 9 pro android 10 roms feature broken sensors took awhile but foumd one that works again

@developerbayman May I know which ROM did you use in the end?. I download the latest android 10 rom at the website suggested by ubport and flash it prior to ut installation. Now with SensorsStatus it seems only GPS works. Rotation doesn't work. One of my sim card also doesn't work.
