How can I help to repair camera on 20.04 at Violet

From update to update there is no cam or no focus on it.

@RiO if i refer to device page violet is Note 7 Pro, and camera should work ok.

Can you be more specific about what works and what doesn't ?
Did you install following instructions, and especially android version asked before installing UT ? -
@Keneda I've installed xenial before focal and camera and all other apps works fine. 16.04 standing up on chinese firmware, and all was OK on it too. But after updating to the 20.04 focusing opportunity has left out in all of the apps in UT and Waydroid too. It's just trying, I see change of the brightness and a focusing circle. And sometimes camera are not working at all in the 20.04 devel branch, I see just black screen

@RiO My Nexus 5 and my Volla Phone X both refused to auto focus the camera under 16.04. I had to manually focus by touching on the image where I wanted the camera to focus. It is the same on 20.04 for my Volla Phone X. Maybe someday they will fix autofocus
, but until then I'll make do with manual focus. -

Just because that seemed working well under 16.04 doesn't mean the android firmware was the good one and you shouldn't installrecommandedrequired one.Plus, it is recommanded to full install focal from ubports installer, not updating from xenial as it can lead to issues for now.
Last, Note 7 Pro is not already in supported focal device list (toggle filter to see focal devices in device list), so, knowing Focal is under heavy dev, and not fully stable on supported devices, don't expect it working well on yours.
