So, I was scrolling through a thread on mobile device, and accidentally downvoted a post on the way through. Is there a trick to undo an accidental up/downvote? Now that a vote has been registered, I seem only to be able to toggle between +1 and -1 (which is not how arithmetic worked when I went to school....)

What happens if you now try to upvote it?
If that results in an unintentional upvote: that seems better than an unintentional downvote. It may surprise someone but will offend no one. -
@prophanetes I had the same problem, several times. I now try to scroll with my left thumb rather than my right thumb.

Hit the downvote button again, and vote should cancel.
It works for me, just tested again on your post, works for both down and upvotes.
What i can't tell is if there is a timer that blocks this after some time. -

So for those playing at home:
-1 + 1 = 1
-1 + -1 = 0
