Hello UBports Team, isn't there a quick and easy solution to this? mentioned here in 2020: https://forums.ubports.com/post/41024 is there hope for a fix or not at all?

Under UT 16.04 Xenial i'm afraid there will not be any more update.

All ressources are now on 20.04 Focal UT ports.

I don't know if there is work, or even possible, to port FP2 to Focal.

@Ced There is a 'feature' (aka 'bug', but we don't uae that word☺) whereby if tou have more than four apps running and try to rebooot or shut down then you just get a lomiri (gui) restart.

Try closing all apps and then attemp a shutdown.

I'm replying to my own post, in case it serves anyone: this bug on the Fairphone 2 is with the newer Fairphone camera module only. So I put the first generation camera module inside (I still had it in a drawer somewhere) and now the phone turns off fine. I don't care much about camera quality on this device anyway.
