Bricked Volla X23

Hello , I recently bought a x23. In the rush to try ubuntu, I installed the version for 22 and when I restarted it, it never started... black screen.

@nicolasrull If you can boot to the bootloader, also known as fastboot mode, it should be recoverable.

@MrT10001 black screen, in linux through the terminal I see the mobile connecting / disconnecting.
Does anyone have the VollaOS of x23?

@nicolasrull With the device at the dark screen, connect to the pc and type in fastboot devices. If it shows up it is very reasonable.

@MrT10001 nothing, it doesn't go into recovery or fastboot

@nicolasrull Yes, but if you follow the steps to put the device into fastboot mode, the device vibrates and the screen is dark but on, connect it to a PC and see if it is picked up with the fastboot command in terminal.

Then only solution is to contact Hallovelt to ask for files to flash your phone with mediatek flash tool, or send your X23 to them. -
@nicolasrull I believe you ended up getting this solved as reported on https://t.me/volla_dev/10340, correct?
This was originally caused by picking the wrong device (Volla Phone 22) in the UBports installer including with bootstrap option selected which overwrote the bootloader of the X23 making even access to fastboot not possible; the only means to recovery was SP flash tool in this case.
