        Hello guys,

        I installed Ubuntu touch recently on my Redmi note 9 pro and I am interested to try out Libertine containers, but unfortunately I cannot initialize a container.

        This is the error which I get when I try to initialize the container from command line

        W: Failure trying to run: chroot /home/phablet/.cache/libertine-container/ivan/rootfs dpkg --force-depends - -install /var/cache/apt/archives/libc6_2.23-0ubuntu3_arm64.deb

        W: See /home/phablet/.cache/libertine-container/ivan/rootfs/debootstrap/debootstrap.log for details (possibl y the package /var/cache/apt/archives/libc6_2.23-0ubuntu3_arm64.deb is at fault) ChrootContainer.py:78: ERROR: create_libertine_container(): Failed to create container

        libertine-container-manager:123: ERROR: create(): Failed to create container: 'destroy_libertine_conta iner() missing 1 required positional argument: 'force''

        I cannot see the log file as suggested, because it does not exist, probably because it deleted after the fail of creating the container.

        This is the command which I execute

        libertine-container-manager create -i test

        Can someone give me some advice or suggestion of why this error occur and how to solve it.

        Does this error occur because the filesystem is read-only?

        Thank you in advance.

          @beyolf I think if Libertine is available for your device it should be in System Settings. If not you need to check if it is indeed available for your devive.

            @Lakotaubp

            Thank for the replay I got an answer of what is the problem. The kernel patch version is higher than 288 and that's why the libertine does not work.

            Unfortunately the port is not maintained anymore , so I will try to build the port with proper kernel patch version to make it work and if I have time I will try to migrate the port on 20.04
