@UBportsNews is there a concrete roadmap to OTA 3, and a time schedule?

@UBportsNews What core apps do you consider still missing in the Focal repository (as compared to Xenial)? What apps do you consider important that you want app developers to focus on them? I noticed that at least two core apps are still missing in Focal: "Notes" and "UT Tweak Tool".

For the apps missing, there is a publishing issue for Notes app:
            https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/apps/lomiri-notes-app/-/pipelines
Tweak Tool is not part of core apps, i don't know the status. Meanwhile you can download the artifact manually : https://gitlab.com/myii/ut-tweak-tool/-/pipelines

              Hello ,

I would like to ask in which parts/features/modules of UT development, developers are most needed?

Thank you again for this amazing project.

@UBportsNews Another annoying question about VoLTE, sorry for that! I've just read on these two pages:
                  https://forum.sailfishos.org/t/beta-volte-on-the-xperia-10-iii-disabled-by-default/11492
                  https://forum.sailfishos.org/t/volte-provider-support/11501
that the sailfish people have a beta VoLTE-support on the Xperia 10 lll. Wouldn't it make sense to create a UT- port for that device and join forces to get VoLTE at least on one single device? Its all Ofono, isnt it?

                    Hello mate

The problem with VoLTE is not related with ofono at this point. As I said in another thread it's about the proprietary setup of the cellular module as it was also explained by Marius in the last QnA(125).

@beyolf Thanks. I'll edit my question then and delete the part with ofono.

@UBportsNews is anyone working on a tor browser for ubports. In xenial we had one in the openstore, in focal it is still missing.

@naumi this was an app from a community member. Feel free to contact the author signaling your interest in version for focal. As is, this is not something the core devs would be pursuing.

I'm giving a presentation at my school about digital privacy and I'm planning to include Ubuntu Touch as a more privacy-friendly alternative to Android and iOS.

It would be interesting to know if and what data a typical Ubuntu Touch device transmits to third parties.

There was some controversy with snap. Is it anything we should be worried about?

Enthousiast. Previously used Redmi note 7, now on Fairphone 4. Still fiddling with Redmi Note 7

What about the possibility to save screenshot of a page in Morph?

I'm curious how the foundation works. How many employees are there? Does money for the foundation mostly go to paid workers, or to things like hosting costs?

Would more money coming in mean more coders be hired? And is this desired, or is the general preference to keep it mostly community/volunteer based?
