      Hello everybody
My oneplus 5 is running very well since some month with ubuntu touch 16.04... and I would like to know if it's secure to upgrade it to UT20.04 ??
And if it is as easier as changing it in update parameters ??
      thank you
      keb

Yes, it's secure. But do check whether the specific apps you use are already ported to Focal. Or maybe there is a new app that does the same thing.

Yes, it's as easy as that! I just did it last week and it went fine.

        Is currently using an Op5t
Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5 and an Xperia X, as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.

The applications not ported to focal will disappear from the store.

But some applications not ported as https://open-store.io/app/alefnode.whatsweb can be downloaded and installed from the website and works for me.

You can verify if your applications are ported to focal on https://open-store.io before the migration
For example this application is not ported :

Pixel 3a ubports focal RC version daily use with pinetime
            PinePhonePro Mobian / ubports Focal
            Redmi 9S focal devel version

@keb OS installation will for sure proceed.
As for the apps, I haven't done it myself as I did a clean install, but they all will likely stay installed but just won't run.

You might also need to reinstall them all after the update is complete using the button in the Settings, under "Updates > Update settings > Reinstall all apps" to make sure all are on their latest Focal versions. This step might not be necessary, but could help the migration for apps that are actually ported to Focal.
