Does anyone have working APN settings for Talkmobile (UK)
I'm trying to switch to this company and have tried the recommended settings without success. I'm getting error net::ERR_FAILED
-
Name - Talkmobile APN - talkmobile.co.uk MMSC - http://mms.talkmobile.co.uk/servlets/mms MMS Proxy - 212.183.137.12 MMS Port - 8799 APN type - internet+mms Username - wap Password - wap
Have you tried these?

@MrT10001 yes but i'll try again. I transferred my number over about 2 hours ago. Voice/text is working. I'm wondering if data takes longer to activate. I'll try these settings nw

@treebeard I had that problem in the past that was solved by setting up one apn for mobile and one for mms. Might be worth trying.

@Lakotaubp thanks I tried that with no luck.
I solved the problem in the end. I think it's worth me describing it in case some adjustments to UT are possible.
I'm migrating from iD (poor network strength) to TalkMobile (very good network, uses vodafone)
I tried the SIM in an android phone as suggested by Talkmobile support with exactly the same problem. After a few ideas were tried they suggested i switch to 2g/3g from 2/g/3g/4g and back again, which cured the problem.
I had tried the equivalent in UT already so this was not a definite fix in UT but I put the sim card back in my Volla. Still not connecting to the internet.
I tried switching between 2g/3g from 2/g/3g/4g several times which i knew normally will show 'L' rather than 3G but on the Talkmobile network it was stubbornly staying on the 3G network.
I thought about driving to the 4G mast but kept trying to 'bump' the connection onto 'L'. After about a minute it latched on and has stayed on since, with everything working fine.
So my thought is could UT be deciding '3G is good enough due to a strong signal, no need to switch to 4G, i'll preserve the battery', whereas androids approach was 'you want 4g you get 4g'?
In which case an option to 'prefer 4g where available' might be useful?
For anyone interested iD connected at 23Mb/s and Talkmobile connects at 39Mb/s but I was happy with the iD connection speed. I'm switching because I often had no signal inside buildings with iD.

@treebeard I keep getting a text from my Vodafone SIM phone telling me 3G is gone and to change the phone (upgrade).
Glad you are up and running. If it's not iOS or Android the network SIMs fall over on data and MMS. -

@MrT10001 I found the settings didn't work for me with up to date samsung phone. However changing the following to
Apn type : default,supl,mms
Having done that all working fine for me
