Viewing a video: screen turning black with the media player

The screen goes black when viewing a long video with my Focal Volla. Changing the lockout time if inactivity in the system settings is inconvenient and tedious for me.
I found a solution to workaround the black screen : activate https://open-store.io/app/activescreen.mateo-salta while watching a video with media player and deactivate after. Thank you Mateo Salta @mateo_salta !
