I don't know for Spotify, but cloud music app is broken since a long time for me. I think it would need an update for working again (API thing).

thanks for your reply but the thing that I don't understand is why Spotify doesn't play music in the web browser. I see my profile, my playlists but when I click on play it doesn't work. I also tried other browsers, like Onion, but nothing. Maybe there is some step to take or some package to install. I wonder if it happened to anyone else. The strange thing is that it plays web radios. I would like to use my old new BQ M10 FHD as a multimedia player

Morph is quite outdated, and it doesn't work with more and more sites. You could try the upcoming new browser that is currently in Alpha, it's called Mimi. It's unfinished, so there are missing features, but it may do some of the things you are looking for.

              Is currently using an Op5t
Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5 and an Xperia X, as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.

Isn't mimi only for 20.04 and further?
BQ devices like Meizu ones or Nexus are stuck to 16.04.

A workaround for using Spotify is to use the native app Futify.
Only problem is that it requires a paid account because the app leverage the ability to download music files to play offline and this feature is only available for paid members.

Media streaming is quite a wild topic and it's not because it works on one website that similar feature works on another website.

Many complaints against Ubuntu Touch are really a complaints about internet and how it works nowadays.
Websites should provide a service to people in return, people pay a fee or trade personal information for the service.
It is sad to notice that web developers often assume that everyone browse the web in a similar fashion.
Also web developers often use framework to help them out.
Hopefully internet has standards to provide a similar experience to all user.
But those standard are often broken (some will argue improved) by either a framework, a browser or even poor choices from a web developer.
This renders the service unusable for people without compatible plugins/browser/computer and that because giant tech companies want to twist internet freedom in order to lock people in and squeeze out revenue from the people they imprisoned.

When a bank assume everyone owns either an Android or iOS smartphone, they intentionally ignore people without smartphone and us Ubuntu Touch user.
When a website assume everyone uses Chrome on Windows or Safari on Mac, they also deliberately ignore other users.
As a user I do not tolerate this kind of behavior and will do my best to report that, so free people can continue to be. If they want everyone to be on the same page, they should use only standards and no fall for the shinny new "features" that on "must" have.
Freedom is about keeping the power to choose what "should" we do.

                          Hi @AmauryDBZ

I had issues also last week but now it works fine for me...
                          Maybe give it another shot.
