Incoming Call (Answer|Reject) Changing UI

Hello Friends,

I hope in 24.04 or later will change the UI for and change its location from top of the phone near the speaker to bottom.

It is a bit hard to answer a phone call using Pixel 3a XL when talking about its size and my thumbs tries to reach to swipe to green.

Therefore, hope developer will come up with a new appealing UI for answering | rejecting calls.

@Salah Well, not easy at it seems. The popup is a standard notification system designed before for the available screen size 10 years ago and desktop.
It would need a special behavior for that use case

This kind of comment is not helpful, hoping doesn't make things happen magically.
To quote a famous master "do or do not, there is no try".

So if you want something to happen there are few options:

Do it yourself and ask for support when you get stuck
Create a feature request or a bug report on Gitlab
Donate, that's another way of hoping but it's more useful to the community
Lead developers and motivate them

Publicly stating that oneself hope for something is just a prayer and we're no god, we're a community, individuals rallied under one banner pushing in the same direction...

It would be good to have a thought about that at least, when comparing it to my device Nokia N900 and checking the UI.

As you said, An idea came to me while looking at my device while ringing and want to share it with the community.

To be honest am not a developer nor IT specialist to know how to tweak and modify, only design and create icons of my own and trying to put my fingerprint on the system :face_savoring_food: same as what I have done to my laptop and my device Nokia N900.

But you can have a look at what is already reported there:

Before creating a new issue, be sure it hasn't been filed before.
There is not a lot of developers so don't bother creating a lot of issues, it takes time to sort them out and prioritize them.
Also issues can stay open and untouched for years because of the same reason...

Yeah, since it's made with the notification bubble, this will be a bit trickier to change. I think there's even an issue where you can swipe away the bubble
Anyway, maybe what we can do is to make another type of notification bubble that shows at the bottom or in fullscreen when displayed in a narrow screen like phones
