      Hi folks,

just got my Oneplus Nord N10 5G. Started with OEM unlock and installing ubuntu touch with ub ports installer right away... and forgot to flash some Android 10 before installing UT. There where initial updates that UT successfully installed, but it wont boot and keeps displaying "opened bootloader message".

My plan now is to find a proper version of twrp recovery to be able to flash android 10 (probably AOSP 10).
Does somebody have a working version of twrp at the moment? Or is it possible to flash android with ub ports installer and ub ports recovery?

      Thanks in advance

No, you can't flash android from UT or UBports installer, unfortunately. I think it's just way too different from device to device.

I would encourage considerable caution from here on out. Your phone's already in a position that it isn't supposed to be in.
Others will have a better idea on the best way to fix.

There is a Readme on the gitlab page for the N10. There's a link to the correct android version there, and some steps to take when downgrading android. I recall it being a bit of a process, and using MSM tool. But it worked in the end.

Hopefully you can follow this same process with your device even though UT is installed over the wrong android version, but I'd wait and see what others say.

@Anarchronox You cannot flash any Android 10, you must flash the version that is stipulated on the devices page by the device porter. There are technical reasons why this must be done or UT won't install or won't work on the device.

You have to flash it using the included MSM Download tool supplied within the ROM ZIP file, so research on how to use that. It will lock the bootloader so you basically have to boot into EDL mode, flash the correct version of Android as stipulated. Boot into Android and set it up, unlock the bootloader, set Android up again and then think about installing UT.

          TWRP is NOT needed.

              Hi,
at first big thx to @MrT10001 and his hint regarding oxygenOS. After some trial and error, everything went smoothly through EBL Mode and MSM Tool. Unfortunately my old Thinkpad now runs on Windows 10 but thats ok ๐Ÿ™‚

Second, coming from Ubuntu touch on a Oneplus 3 where video recording never worked... now on OP N10, a dream! Iยดm so happy!

So far so good, thanks for the quick help. Looking forward to deep-dive into maybe daily-driving my new device some day.

@DJac I think thats not the correct build/version, my phone is billie not aviici.

@Anarchronox It is a shame that Windows is required for things like this. Glad you are up and running and hopefully VolTE and 5G will come to this device.

@MrT10001 Yeah those features would be nice. But first things first get my new device a sim card to test really mobile out in the wild. By far best thing until now is battery lifetime. I really kept playing around all day long and it lasted for nearly 2 days. Great work!!
