For some days now, in the status bar I have instead of the battery icon some icon I'm not sure what it is supposed to mean.
I also don't get the percentage (switching this on/off doesn't help) neither when charging nor when discharging.
BUT: when I open the battery settings, I get a percentage showing how much the battery is charged (but I don't get the statistics chart).

        Please see attached screenshots:

        Is my battery defective?

@jojumaxx same here since OTA8, the battery icon will appear back if you do a reboot while plugged in, at least for me

So i'd suspect a voltage issue or something in those lines why the batery is not showing up after a reboot unplugged...

I had this behavior already in OTA-7.
I don't remember, when this started, it wasn't always this way.
I also can fix this only by booting while the charger is plugged in.
Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Good to know, there's no issue with the battery.
