Mockups meeting point
-
Hello community.
The intention of this entry is to compile all the mockups/sketches we have or know, so in a next step organize them in the wiki, when everything is more advanced at the organizational level.
To help in the new UI or Improve the current.
Thank you.

Hints of a Suru iconset from a presentation a few years ago. Never released though.
I think it would be worth to ask Canonical's designers if they have it somewhere and would share. The icons above are purely beautiful, so if there were more and if they could share the .svg's it would be awesome...

These are just fan mockups and not the official ones. I would suggest to split this topic in two - one for official plans/mockups from Canonical and one for community ones.
The problem with the second category is that as they can be beautiful and neat, they are often completely clashing with the current design. For example music taskbar app looks handy, but I personally cannot see the way to mix it into the indicator design - especially that it is not only meant for one music app, but generic.

@Mitu I very much agree with this. Community designs are a great source of inspiration, but we need to be very strict on the design language.

Extensive design guidelines and many, many mockups throughout them.

Wow, seems they have somewhen revamped the documentation and released mockups not seen before:

This is awesome, so much documentation!

In the official documentation there are really beautiful mockups, it would be nice to recover some of these WIP stuff from canonical. I wonder if that could be possible
