        Hi everyone,

I've recently flashed my Volla Quintus device (delivered with Ubuntu Touch) with Volla OS, and the process went smoothly. However, every time I boot up the device, I get a security warning indicating that the device might be corrupted. It prompts me to confirm by pressing the power button within 5 secodns before it continues to load the operating system, if not, it tirns the device off. . This is quite annoying.

I suspect there might be a command or setting to eliminate this warning, but I'm not sure what steps to take. Could anyone guide me on how to resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance for your help!

@Pandolin Two questions - Is the bootloader unlocked and why did you buy it with UT to then install Volla OS?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...

To help contribute to the UBports foundation.
And it's highly appreciated. Thanks @Pandolin

@AppLee I just found it unusual to buy a device with UT on it to then go to Android. I would have done it the other way round. It wasn't meant as a barbed comment.

                Hi @MrT10001
And my answer was also not a snarky one.
One might want to buy it preinstalled with Ubuntu Touch, so Volla will make a donation to the foundation.
Then switch to android if Ubuntu Touch doesn't meet their expectations yet.

I see. I never thought of the contribution to UT when buying a Volla device with pre-installed UT.

                    Hi!

I unlocked the Bootloader. And i bought it with UT because i love the Open Source Aspect, i use Kubuntu on my PC at home. I wanted to test UT, now i wanted to test Volla OS šŸ™‚

                    Best regards

@Pandolin I see, I generally go Android to UT, e/OS/ or SailFishOS.

The warning at boot is because bootloader is unlocked.

That is completely normal for most of us who use devices that previously ran Android. The best option is to see it as a badge of honour, awarded for freeing the device from Google's clutches.
