      Hello,

I have a Redmi Note 9 Pro (global), aka miatoll.

Online documentation seems to indicate very good support by Ubuntu Touch, and past user reports on the forum concur. However, I've just installed 24.04-1, and both Wifi and Cellular are broken:

      • GUI for both is nearly empty
      • no Wifi interface
      • the Cellular interface rmnet_ipa0 comes and goes every ~3s, with dmesg repeatedly saying:
[Thu Jul 3 00:54:08 2025] Watchdog bite received from modem!
[Thu Jul 3 00:54:08 2025] modem subsystem failure reason: SFR Init: wdog or kernel error suspected..

[Thu Jul 3 00:54:09 2025] Fatal error on modem!
[Thu Jul 3 00:54:09 2025] modem subsystem failure reason: modem_xpu_int.c:502:XPU violation End.

Is there a known regression on 24.04-1 ?

What is the last known working version ?

      Thanks in advance,

      -Alex

@ferrieux 24.04 is currently not the stable version of Ubuntu Touch. Maybe installing the stable version (currently 20.04 (OTA-9) focal) could solve your problems. I think the ubports installer should also show you what version is stable.
