So I found that doing a routine reboot helps make UT an enjoyable daily driver by resetting things before strange problems come up.
Im using a snap that reboots the device at midnight everyday.
The problem is that my alarms dont go off in the morning unless I login after the reboot and I guess this is an situation because I am using the home drive encryption.

Is there a foreseeable way to do a routine reboot and have some functions work without the first reboot?

@RJDan Not while using encryption, because all the info needed for the functions you care about are inaccessible until after your home folder is decrypted.
