Also when I call someone I hear no ringing tone.
Hello
I have seen this described as a side-effect of using Volte in some cases. So if your localization supports old 3G signaling, it could be interesting to try to downgrade your cell configuration to see if it changes anything.

@gpatel-fr
Interesting, thought about downgrading as well, but what's the preferred way of doing that? -

I was thinking of settings / cellular data
-
@gpatel-fr Ah Ok didnt know that option, thought you were talking about downgrading to an older UT version. However switching off Volte solves the issue indeed.
Thanks very much!

You could file an issue in the Gitlab then. This seems to point to a problem in Volte implementation with your phone.

@gpatel-fr
Sure, but first I might give UT 24 a try this weekend to see if it behaves the same way. -
@volatius
I have a spare FP3+ that I updated to 24.04. It's been a bit unreliable, though I haven't put in a sim card, so I can't comment how that part works. -
@gandalf @gpatel-fr I know can confirm the issue also being present with UT 24.04 (which besides this seems to run smoothly).
However Im struggling opening the issue on gitlab. Im not experienced with gitlab, possibly I might need to be added as some kind of participant in the UBports project to enable issue creation for me?

Well, I have never tried myself to create an issue in this project, I don't see a way to create an issue at the upper level, however when going to a particular project, I see a 'New' button, so maybe the upper level is more a search for all issues than a way to open one.
I don't have any relationship to the project, only a Gitlab account.

@gpatel-fr yep you were right, going down to the specific projects helped. Thanks once again
