The tradition of OpenStore stats continues! As with last year we've seen steady growth, especially with efforts to bring forward apps from Xenial to Focal & Nobel (big thanks to Weston Howard on that!). Is it my bad math, or should +131 -1 = +130, not +129 in the very first paragraph?

@danfro nope! Apparently it should have been -2 instead of -1. I've updated it in the original post.

This btw is also why I'm not so happy on the "dump xenial" train, there are more xenial devices than both focal and noble combined

Funny seeing 47 focal amd64 downloads lol

Maintaining 53 apps... That blows my mind

Enthousiast. Previously used Redmi note 7, now on Fairphone 4. Still fiddling with Redmi Note 7

@Caedem likely not how it works. The 3.5.1 was the last xenial release. Those 9k focal devices, are those who moved from xenial to focal. So there would be a bit less than 4k xenial left with numbers shrinking.

And we need to drop them for security reasons at some point. Or can you justify providing a unmaintained insecure system? Also some older devices will simply die due to hardware breaking.
