I've tried setting the APN settings with the info ST gave me, however it doesn't seem to be working. My phone isn't being held hostage so I can easily just use LineageOS, but I kinda like having Ubuntu on the go.

Has anyone had the same problems as me, and managed to get it fixed? Or am I at a dead end, and I'm going to have to figure it out?

@deadthousand Try one of the Verizon Data APNs - Some devices in the US can still connect as a Data only device, even though VoLTE isn't functioning. The rest won't work on Verizon without registering an IMS APN first.

You did not specify your device, but in general, Verizon will not work with UT, except for models that are currently VoLTE capable and on Verizon's whitelist - In the US, that would be the Oneplus N10 and N100. OP 6/6T will be VoLTE capable shortly.

@rocket2nfinity Its a pixel 3a. It also just straight up says "denied". I've even tried those, ejecting the SIM card, to no avail. Like, no data, nothing.

@deadthousand P3a is known to not work with Verizon, not even as a data only device (an unsolved bug). Is it locked to Verizon? Because it will still function completely on T-Mobile and MVNOs. I suggest US Mobile. They have all three networks and great deals.

@rocket2nfinity Its a straight talk compatible with verizon. And I'm pretty sure the parent company is owned by verizon now (tracfone). Maybe its just a hink, but oh well. I have internet anyway.

@deadthousand You clearly got it boot loader unlocked since you are running UT on it. If it is network locked, and you bought it, you can request to network unlock it.

There is also a way to network unlock it by removing a file in the HAL, but that requires hacking skills. See xda-developers for that.
