Redmi note 9 pro wifi

Just installed ubuntu touch with the latest stable version
Sadly the wifi only shows previous network
The wifi worked fine on android
the wifi doesn't turn on either
is there a fix ? -

make sure you have suggested android version underneath, what android version do you have? -
@uxes i've downgraded to android 10 and unlocked the phone

Which Ubuntu Touch version do you run? -
@PianoStudent4569 That is usually the sign of the incorrect Android version being installed. You may have downgraded to Android 10, but there are versions within that.

There are many different versions of the Redmi Note 9 Pro (depending on where it is sold).
Do you have a reference number for the model on the back of the phone? -
@PianoStudent4569 i mean exact version, not just number 10, maybe link to version where you got it, you have to have specific version to have working wifi, calls

@uxes I'm not sure about the right version but I think it was the 11.0.2 since i got it from the xiaomi firmware updater, here's the version i got :joyeuse_global_images_V11.0.2.0.QJZMIXM_20200508.0000.00_10.0_global

I have the same phone and all is OK for me.
I used joyeuse_global_images_V12.0.1.0.QJZMIXM_20210419.0000.00_10.0_global
