Connecting a USB-C SSD
-
Just registered today, looking for a little guidance.
I'm working on finding a suitable mobile platform that would accept a live TailsOS 7.* stick via a OTG port OR any USB-C port of a Samsung "DeX Technology" desktop environment or Motorola "Ready Now". Oppo and Huawei have desktop environment as well but would rather stick with Samsung or Motorola.
Being that Tails is Ubuntu based I thought UT might play nicer, than say running Termux on Android.
Anything that would save me from wasting time is much appreciated.

Your best way to avoid wasting time is to look at the device list. If it's not on that list, you can't install Ubuntu Touch on it.
(Unless you'd want to make a port for an unsupported device, but that's not a good way to save time.)

This will not work with mobile devices, except for x86 with proper UEFI/BIOS. And connecting SSD via USB-C might also be not the best idea because of its limited power output.
