      @Vlad-Nirky

I have seen already another post about things being messed up in landscape and staying messed up when back to portrait - something I definitely don't see on my FP5, where the landscape mode is not perfect but when switching back to portrait all is well.

I think I see the difference now: your phone has no notch for the back camera. It's probably the root cause. The MR has been tested for a phone like the FP5, not like your phone.

It has a notch for back camera but on the left of the screen.
It could be port depending, of course.

ah yes I see it now. By luck in this position it does not block the indicators.
Theoretically the software should elegantly adapt to all the quirks of the hardware. Practically it's not as easy as one could think šŸ™‚

FP5 en Morph testing here on 24-04-2.0. The good news: I can now login tot the DPG (newspaper) sites with my valid login \o/ (earlier I got something like 'error or misbehave detected', probably the bot-detection?

But having troubles with my own simple Basic Authenticated websites and the login dialog.

The normal username/password dialog appears, and I can login.
But after reopening Morph again, the (saved) tab is open, and there are several issues:

            • either I fail to login again, I
            • cannot close the dialog on the phone (on a big screen I 'escape' works
            • the keyboard shows, but the dialog is not visible anymore (some white space seems to show it: after entering username, click the white space, give username, click the white space etc etc
            • others have issues with this? (or is Basic Authentication over https dead)

Non related to this: should a phone work in a car using Bluetooth? It see it connects as a headset, so I can talk/hear. But I does not present a phone or contacts to the car?

              FP4 here

update did not work using the directions in OP, however, update worked using UB-Installer

indicators work well around notch, that's a real plus!
screenrotation works fine, indicators and notch return to their place just fine

what I tested so far worked fine
              batterylife looks fine
carrier indicator behaves as usual (dropping when 5G)

Signal UT does not display the keyboard, I assume that is in line with X11 apps not displaying the keyboard, as someone already stated

I'm quite happy with this update
              so long, and thanks

@phandersson May I ask if Morph is/was working for you on the Volla Quintus in 24.02-2.x?

I've not tried 24.04-2.x yet, but I can do so and report back.

Regarding Morph in particular, what kind of test are you interested in?

To push your contact to the car kit, you can try using 'Ratatoskr' (https://next.open-store.io/app/ratatoskr.petroniusniger/). I haven't tested it on Noble yet, but I've already received positive reports from other users.

Just tried to upgrade the Quintus to 24.04-2.0. As recommended, I switched to the 'release candidate' channel and checked for updates. It downloaded an image identified as "version 15", which I installed. The robot character announced the install and the phone rebooted without issue, but Settings still shows it as 24.04-1.3, still on the RC channel (24.04-1.x/arm64/android9plus/rc), but with no further update waiting.

                        Have I missed anything?

then run the following command in Terminal app or via ADB/SSH:

                          gsettings set io.ubuntu-touch.system-settings.update offer-development-release true
