Dear Community,
I have a Problem. I'm looking for an alternative Operating System for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (2023). Due to my search, I did not find enything. I'm not shure, if the "Ubuntu Touch" works on this device because some people tell in the internet, some of the hardware is not managed. Please, it would realy helpful to find a solution because to work with the Android OS is horrible.
Please let me also know if it has no option of an OS for my tablet, I can stop searching.

If it is not on the list of devices here it means it is not on the installer. I have also searched to see if someone is developing a port for this device and found none.
This means that Ubuntu Touch won't run on this device unless someone develops a port for it.
There is some work for LineageOS being developed on this tablet see here.

@MrT10001 sorry to dig up an old thread, but if you 2 are still around, I have a S8 Ultra as well that I have started to port, it's very early stages but I'm sure we can collaborate and get Ubuntu Touch running on this device, I also have the Tab S8 and Tab S8+ in case anyone else with those devices happens soon this thread.

I don't think anyone else is attempting this port.
But if you need help you can post in the porting section of the forum if you got stuck after reading the porting documentation. -

It is not the easyest os to install... -
@DJac sadly this is not the same device, this is for the 8.4" Samsung Galaxy Tab S LTE, why they have it the way they do is very misleading and it really messes with search results for the Galaxy Tab S8
