Bluetooth cuts out for most keyboard devices on sleep or screen dim -- any known workarounds
-
Recently installed Ubuntu Touch on a Lenovo Tab M10 HD (2nd Gen) 4GB/64GB. Works very nicely, and initially connects to Bluetooth keyboard. After being idle or put to sleep, the keyboard is shown to be reconnected, but doesn't work at all.
Using rfkill and restarting the service do NOT help, but rebooting the device will "reset" the problem.
Anyone have a progamatic/script workaround to cleanly restart bluetooth services on this device?

@ijonglin I've put together a hardware workaround by using a 2.4GHz wireless keyboard and adding an OTG adapter so that I can have a wireless keyboard (just not through bluetooth). But still wondering if there's a cleaner solution.

Sadly, this is one of the long time quirks with bluetooth on UT especially input devices like keyboard and mouse. I've never found a solution except finding a different model that works better
Someone with knowledge and skill has to look into it.
