      Hi guys

I set up ssh keys and can connect from win11 to pixel 3a but get disconnected with:
      debug1: identity file C:\Users\user/.ssh/id_ed255xx type 3
      debug1: Local version string SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_for_Windows_9.5
      debug3: recv - from CB(2) ERROR:108, io:000002BDD6F3FB70
      kex_exchange_identification: read: Connection reset
Connection reset by 192.168.0.135 port 22

Is there a firewall on the touch side that shuts the connection down? Any other ideas I could try?

      Any ideas very appreciated.

      Cheers
      ml

        Hi @mmmmhLasagna (now I'm hungry)

I don't know anything about Windows, but maybe something to do with your client.
Can you try with a Linux installed on a Live USB drive for example?

Because something tells me that these error codes only mean something with regard to the client you're using...

I had this once or twice SSH to my OpenmediaVault Nas/servers. The problem is usually the Firewall on the Windows side.

See here - the error being : kex_exchange_identification: read:

Try disabling your Windows firewall when SSH to the device and hopefully it should connect.

If you have too many SSH connections it will do the same.

          Windows........🤦

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
          I have too many devices...
