Happy New Year everyone. In the last linmob update, Peter has said:
Also, once Ubuntu Touch 24.04 lands, running apps via Libertine (the container thingy you can install .deb packages in), is going to make more sense than ever before.
I wondered, if anyone gets a spare moment, if they could very quickly explain what the advantages might be?

@moodroid Best to ask the writer of that post what they had in mind?

In pixel 3aXL ,Able to install next noble 24.04 ut through installer without wipe from focal 20.04ut devel. After installation top indicator ,system settings do not display cellular and hot spot icons ,Also not able to call or sms, and use data. After removing the sim and installing noble again ,the cellular and hotspot icons are displayed in system settings .But no cellular icon is displayed in the indicators. If I insert a sim , icon for cellular flashes and goes off in the indicators. No calling functions is working.Only when utnext noble is installed this happens .But in focal no such problem. Also in poco X3 ,no problem encountered in focal or ut next noble 24.04.

Hello.
I'm trying the 24.04 (r85) on my Redmi Note 9 Pro.
I had an issue while configuring the device.
I have plugged a usb keyboard and after using the top tool bar to change the keyboard layout to azerty belgium.
The system parameter has crashed after i choose this keyboard.
After this, i can't launch system parameters nor any app on the phone (terminal, camera, ...).
The screen pop up and close just after.
Wondering how to look at the log files... -
@Vlad-Nirky That's the same for me. When you wan't to change the keyboard-layout in system-settings you are not able to do so. But when you try it through the keyboard-indicator you can select your layout. After that system-settings etc. is not available anymore (crashes directly after starting the app).

Hello and sorry in advance for my lack of English...
I've installed 24.04 on my Redmi Note 9 Pro. I've tested a few applications which, on the whole, behave quite well.
I've noticed that the audiobookplayer, which uses contenthub and which under 20.04 has plenty of apps allowing it to complete its music content, only has Morph browser under 24.04.

Please note that you forgot to update the number for this news for this Q&A article.
Should be 155, not 154.https://ubports.com/en/blog/ubports-news-1/post/ubuntu-touch-q-a-154-3948

I'd like to start posting weekly development updates here on the forums - this is a bit of an experiment, so please let me know if you find these updates useful and what could be improved.
I think it's a great idea, and I think starting a fresh weekly thread would improve things. If once a week is too much, consider a slower pace that's easier to stick to.
