How to join if I am registered in forums.ubports.com but not in www.ubports.com?

When I try to join, I see this error message:
I also tried to reset my password (in case I have an account and a password) for www.ubports.com and I tried to log in into www.ubports.com, but that does not work either.

I could use an email address for registering for www.forums.com which is different from the email address I use for forums.ubports.com. But I would like to avoid that because it would make things more complicated.
I could delete my account for forums.ubports.com and create one for www.ubports.com. But this would only make sense, if I can use the www.ubports.com account for the forums too. Do you know, if this is the case?

@musicologist What do you want to do exactly? There is no account registration nor login for the main web site. The form you posted is a contact form which submits your interest for becoming a UBports Community Member, to join the Board of Trustees for the foundation.
To become a member of the BoT, you must have materially contributed to the goals of the foundation for at least three months prior, and the Membership Committee will vote on your application to be a member.

@dobey , I want to contribute to the testing of Ubuntu Touch with my Volla Quintus.
I thought that the "Join us" next to the "sign in" link was meant to register for the "sign in" (see screenshot)
But my problem is solved now: I pressed "sign in" and found an equivalent to an "register here" link on the following page. Thanks for your help! If everything works well, I will begin with testing in the next days. And maybe later I will think of joining (as in "Join us"), but not now.
