        Hi,

presence of SD-card does not make any applications writing to it, so I've symlinked folders from home (Downloads, Pictures...) and it mostly works as expected, but certain applications, most annoyingly — Morph browser, it fails for download anything with ~/Downloads being symlinked to somewhere on SD-card mount

failed to find any useful messages in logs, Morph browser just pops up error message "The file cannot be written locally, due to access restrictions - 0B"

I'd expect it to come from apparmor, or some settings under Security->App Permissions, but found nothing related there

what prevents Morph browser from writing on SD-card?

            Hello,

I don't know the solution, but maybe my thoughts will help.

By default, the home folders such as downloads, documents, ... are created on all storage devices. With the photo app you can decide whether you want to save it to the internal memory or to the SD card. As far as I know, that doesn't need manual symlinking.

Which file system does the SD card have?
Could it be a rights issue with vfat?

            Many greetings, Charly
