        Hello everyone
I am a beginner when it comes to Ubuntu Touch, but I wanted to try out the system because it's such a great idea. I have a OnePlus Nord N100 with Android 11.

I tried to downgrade the phone to Android 10 following the instructions (https://community.oneplus.com/thread/1541327).
I've tried everything, but I always fail because the MSM tool can't establish a connection.
Is there anyone in Switzerland who could help me with this? A nice meal afterwards would definitely be in order.
        Thanks

@MarcelloTogg what issues are you having? The MSM Tool requires a windows pc with Qualcomm USB drivers installed.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
          I have too many devices...

@mrt10001 - First, just wanna say, YOU ROCK!!! Your input and support to users in other threads is the only reason I was able to get mine to work. So, just wanted to express my sincere GRATITUDE for what you do. You're a hero in my book.

@marcellotogg - since I did this recently, I think I had a similar error to what you are describing. For me, the Project ID code for your MSM Tools image needs to match the version of Nord 10 that you have. From my notes, I had the BE2028 variant of the phone and the project that worked for me was 20888. If I remember, BE2026=Global=Project 20886, BE2029=Europe=Project 20889, I think BE2027 is TMobile Metro variant and maybe Project 20887 (but not sure on this one).

              BE2025 Metro
              BE2026 US Unlocked (AT&T)
              BE2028 T-Mobile - 2 SIM slots
              BE2029 EU/Global - 2 SIM slots

The Qualcomm drivers are installed. I should also mention that I tried this on a VM running Windows 10. I no longer have a Windows computer. ADB Fastboot is also installed.
                USB debugging and bootloader unlocked.
‘ADB devices’ also shows the corresponding ID, but ‘fastboot devices’ shows nothing. Accordingly, there is probably no connection in MSM either.
PS: Qualcomm was installed with driver verification disabled.

@MarcelloTogg You have to install the drivers twice - once in adb mode, and again in EDL mode. You also have to enable developer options and USB debugging in android for fastboot.

Also try with Windows installed to a USB drive as the HD using Rufus. VMs seem to have difficulty with msmDownloadtool.

@rocket2nfinity USB debugging and developer options are enabled.
Have I understood your reasoning correctly:
Connect mobile phone to PC (adb devices shows id)
                      Then install Qualcomm driver
Then put mobile phone into edl mode: adb reboot edl
                      Reinstall Qualcomm driver
                      Then start msm?
