No more waydroid updates?

I don't even recall when last time I've got Waydroid update via
sudo waydroid update. Updates where rather regular some time ago...Running Volla Phone X with latest 24.04-1.1.
Maybe I have to reinstall it somehow?

I don't think this is an UT or WaydroidHelper problem, the upstream project has not updated its image list:

notice that the last image as announced on the waydro.id (the github is the source) is currently lineage-20.0-20250809, that is the one running currently on my phone, while Sourceforge has a few newer images:

this said you don't have missed that much, no new images at all since oct 2025. This is a maintenance problem for the waydroid project itself. You can try to add the hew images as custom but I have no idea how, not much interested in this personally.

I see. Well let's hope that project does not die.
At some point my phone would have been unusable (without password manager) without Waydroid.
Sometimes I think maybe just to switch to Lineage/Graphene/Etc phone. UBPorts seems barely alive and with questionable future. But that's off-topic here.

both projects are still maintained. UT has a lot more activity, but also a vastly bigger domain, so in both cases maintainers are spread thinly. That's not because what's interesting you is not moving fast enough for your taste that people are not active on these projects, they are just caring for other aspects of the projects.
