Bluetooth settings page isnt showing paired devices.
-
Hello all!
So the settings page on my phone is essentially empty (not counting an airbud falsely showing up as available when in reality is off).
wiped the folder containing the config but still nothing showing. And now i cant pair the BT speaker i used before with this phone, it doesnt show up even though its in pairing mode and it shows up on a zte a76.....Up until now a simple reboot fixed things but now even a literal cold boot (battery out for a minute) wont make it to return to normal.
Any ideas where should i start?

Run this command until you see all your paired devices listed again
sudo systemctl restart bluetooth.service -
Ran it 20+ times, nothing......

@jagdtigger
are they any errors in journal for the lomiri system settings service? -
@jagdtigger Have you tried re-pairing. You mentioned you deleted the config so maybe that deleted all paired devices? I actually don't know which or where thar config files are.
You can also try turning off bluetooth first then run the command.

@jagdtigger I had the same problem twice. After multiple restarts of bluetooth and the phone itself, my headphones were detected again. A couple of days later it happened again and after multiple restarts it worked again. Now I did not have any problems for at least a week

Initially that worked for me too, not anymore.

I was able to after i wiped everything inside '/var/lib/bluetooth/', but after a dew days it stopped working..... Tried repairing after that but it wouldnt show up as available.

Nothing:phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ sudo journalctl -u lomiri-system-settings -- No entries -- -

-- No entries --well, there is no such thing as a lomiri-system-settings systemd service so it's to expect that you will find nothing in the systemd journal under this item.
I'd say that if you can connect to your UT phone with ssh (it's really more to my liking that the UT terminal to do debugging) you could start bluetoothctl, take a look at the result of 'show' (your controller should be powered, discoverable and pairable), 'device', and if you see your device 'info <bluetooth address>' - if not, see what is displayed when you disable/enable pairing on your Bluetooth device.
