Indicator/Notification bar: Cuts off at top right/Scaled too wide/Clock is obscured (Ubuntu Touch / Oneplus Nord N100)
-
I just installed Ubuntu Touch on my Oneplus N100, but the screen bezel cuts off the top[ right hand corner where the clock sits, so it appears as 22:3x, where the x is obscured.
This may be a general scaling issue, where the phone is spec.ed with a larger screen than it actually has, or it may be a Indicator bar/Notification bar issue, as the notif bar is shifted to the right , which I assume is for icons on the left, but am unsure.
It would be good if a future update to Tweaks or to the OS allowed for the adjustment of placement of the notif bar, or general scaling of the display area.
If I am missing something let me know.

@nomadster You're in luck! A fix for rounded corners is being tested, and will very likely come to your device soonish.

@Moem Thank you for the prompt reply. might I ask a rough timescale?
Is "soonish" on the order of days, weeks or months? (If you cannot be specific, do not worry, you have already been helpful)Best,

@nomadster I would say that 'months'' sounds most accurate. But it depends on the porter, who needs to apply the fix to the port for this specific device. And it depends on another step that needs to happen first...
Your device is currently not included in the beta testing for the 24.04-2.x version, which comes with this fix. The reason is a problem with the size of the root file system. Let's hope a solution for that can be found soon. (My own daily driver is not included either, for the same reason)

@nomadster Atleast it is good to know the porter is pretty active, and i have seen some news on possible solutions for the current issues they are facing with the root sizing issues...
so fingers crossed that they can fix it, once they are able to ... there is some promising updates on the horizon

If you find difficulties installing and configurating the "hacks" or "tuning" mentioned by @keneda, dont hesitate to ask!
oh and welcome!
