        Re: Cannot receive group texts
        Hello,
I am having the same group text issues that I see many people having. On UBports 16.04 or 15.04 I can send group texts( an sms message to more than 1 number), but I cannot receive group texts.

As a ubuntu touch user, I want to be able to send and receive group messages with android and iOS users so that I don't miss important messages from co-workers, friends, and family.

Does anyone know where I would even begin to add this feature?

          Hello,

the feature is basically there but we got a few bug reports. Well actually there is only one report for the Oneplus one: https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/383 and another, probably related one about MMS: https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/276 - you could also test MMS please, to see if that works.

            Hello Flohack,

I was able to run an MMS test as well, and it also failed. So it seems the same issue is also affecting MMS messages.

Fwiw, I am having this issue with both a OnePlus One, and on a nexus 5. I have an old nexus 4 lying around, and could also test that device.

I am really interested in solving this issue so that I can make ubports my daily driver. Let me know if you have additional thoughts, I appreciate your insights.

            Cheers

I'm also having problems with mms on my Nexus 4. My carrier is Virgin Mobile in Canada. I can access the internet fine by cellular data, but pictures never come through in text messages

                Hi All,
I've updated both bug reports related to MMS issue(https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/12, https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/276) on github with output from the messaging-app log file.
You can find a lot of errors there so it seems that we have to wait for one of the developers to debug it.
On my OPO with 15.04 OTA-3 errors in messaging-app log file were exactly the same as on 16.04(2018-W28) that i'm currently running.
