new to ut and just got it installed on a nex 4. the installer worked 100% once i returned the phone to oem firmware. since i have family in other counties i added skype from the store but find the call option does not work. i know skype is not the most linux friendly app, is there another voip that will work? thanks

Doesn't telegram have voice call? Never tried it, but I think it does.
And stuff like appear.in (or any other webrtc site) might also just work in the browser without any need for an app, but I am just rambling, I haven't tried that either.

thanks i will check them out, to bad there is no kakao but maybe the korean's will get around to it.

@doniks unfortunately the Telegram available for Ubuntu Touch doesn't have voice call yet, because it is different from the Android version and not supported by the Telegram developers....it will probably have it in the future but maybe not very soon.
