in Messaging - Message view - clicking on the contact icon → red box is displayed instead of the contact data window.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you that https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues is for issues in general, but when filing a bug report about an specific app it's better to file it in the bug tracker of that app. For example https://github.com/ubports/messaging-app/issues in this case.
