        Hello everyone,

        Sorry if this has already been answered (can't find anything on it). I've got an HTC M7 and would love to put Ubuntu Touch on it, is this possible and are there any guides I can follow.

        Thanks for any help,

        regards,

        Mark.

          @ayenack hi, just FYI this is the current list of supported devices https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/

          The only way to install UT on your HTC M7 is (trying to) porting it http://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/porting/introduction.html

            Ah O.K. I also have an Motorola G 2nd Gen (I think), is it possible to install on that?

            Thanks for the link.

            EDIT:- I've just followed the supported devices link so I think maybe I'll get one of those. Thanks.

              @ayenack you're welcome.

              The necessary first step to port UT is to port it to Halium, and there's some WIP on some Motorola models as you can see here https://github.com/Halium/projectmanagement/issues?utf8=✓&q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+motorola but if you want a UT device now, yes it's better to buy a supported device.
