It is our pleasure to announce the release of Dekko2 for Xenial

You find it in the open-store on your device and at https://open-store.io/dekko2.dekkan

Yes there are still bugs. We know, but it should definitely be good enough to allow you to read and write your emails from UT.

Try it out and feel free to praise or curse us below. Let us know what you think.

        Bugtracker is over here: https://gitlab.com/dekkan/dekko/issues
        Source code: https://gitlab.com/dekkan/dekko
        Dev thread: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/1477/dekko2-developer-community-thread

PS: Yes, patches are welcome 🙂

If I install the beta2 and unistall the beta1, will I have to redefine the accounts?

@mihael I didn't. Just load new beta first. Restart and then delete beta 1. I restarted again at this point.

@3arn0wl you need to use a browser or a webapp like https://open-store.io/app/tutanota.jos-henson to access Tutanota mail.

Ah, okay. Thanks for that, @advocatux - I've got the webapp, but I just thought it might be neater if I could integrate it with my other email accounts.

@3arn0wl yes, it might, and Tutanota users dream with that possibility since some years ago but Tutanota Support always says 'nope' (https://tutanota.uservoice.com/forums/237921-general/suggestions/6895110-external-imap-pop3-connection)

@doniks Dekko crashes when checking Sent emails. Not always, but mostly. It was happening before on alfa, beta1 and also beta2, otherwise no other issues so far

Can't reproduce it here. Can you raise an issue? And please include logfile and mention which email provider you use.

@doniks So when you open Sent folder, select an email you sent, you can open it and read it? Just ti clarify that.

@doniks emails in Sent folder without a text, just with an attachment could be opened just fine, but with a text in the body of the email, it crashes the Dekko.
                                      I'm using Yandex mail.

@stefano for me, no problem when I hit sent emails. I got that crash event when I hit on the arrow to reply to an email or when I hit the option reply to...pressing the other option forward email seems to work BTW.

@matteo happens once, sometimes, all the time? reply or reply all or both? One particular email, or multiple or all? Anything in the log file?

@doniks How can I get the logfile when the Logviewer is crashing/showing error while trying to send it to pastebin?
                                            UPDATE:
Ignore that message, I found the logs. Do you want even the logs from beta1 or only from beta2?

@stefano beta2. But it doesn't hurt to attach the other one as well if you have it
