        Breaking the duopoly of iOS and Android, with a Free OS and accompanying environment, available on common modern mobile device hardware, would be amazing.

          @neil @linmob it's a big dream. i'm so sick of android and proprietary hardware that just gets shitty after manufacturer stops "allowing" you to install stuff on it.

            @neil @linmob i'm kinda sad i didn't buy a OnePlus 6 used and try postmarketOS. i had such a poor experience with Pinephone that i didn't go for it.

              @tootbrute You can still get one, and try it out 🙂 With recent upstreaming efforts, and the large number of contributors, it should be a good device to fool around with for a while. If you go into it without expecting to switch to it tomorrow and are ok with maybe carrying it as a second device, it may even make you happy! @neil
