has anyone already ported one yet? so far I've unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone , added twrp and majic.
I unlocked the bootloader using this guide found here at sony and the aosp site.
https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/unlock-bootloader/how-to-unlock-bootloader/
and got root by buying some software called xperifix that worked first time (only works with winblows)
https://www.xperifix.com
I couldn't get root to work with ADB for some unknown reason to me.
so now I'm going to try to port it ,or what ever it's called. I hope this info might help someone . -
@bill This is the best place for porting, so moved it over.

@bill some people are trying to port some xperia models [*] to halium, that's the first step to then try to port them to UT, but I don't see there your model.

@lakotaubp I'm on my way , just need to get my head around a couple of things first.

@advocatux I started the halium porting but have to wait till start of December for my internet download limit to reset . I have to download the source tree , but it doesn't say how big it is , and last time I downloaded the AOSP source tree it said it was around 20 gb , but it was 32-33 gb and put me over my data limit and cost me $50 on top of my bill. it would be good to know exactly how big it was first befor I download it.

@bill yes, you're right but I don't know where would be the best place to ask for that sort of info. Maybe the Halium group in Telegram (https://t.me/halium)?

@advocatux thanks for the link , I joined and will ask a bit later when I have more time to concentrate.
